Privacy
Short version: your parkrun results stay in your browser. We don't have accounts, a database or tracking, and we never sell or share anything.

The website
When you paste your results into wheretoparkrun.com, the page works them out on your own device. Your results, your home parkrun and any friends you add are saved in your browser's local storage, so they are there next time. They are not sent to us. To remove someone, click the × next to their name under "Showing results for", or clear this site's data in your browser.
The Chrome extension
- It only runs on parkrun results pages (
/parkrunner/) that you open yourself. It reads the results table on that page and nothing else. - It never fetches parkrun pages in the background and doesn't read any other websites.
- It keeps the results from the last page you opened in Chrome's extension storage on your device, so the toolbar dropdown can show your picks. That copy is replaced when you open another results page and removed when you uninstall the extension.
- "Open full planner" opens wheretoparkrun.com with your results packed into the part of the address after the
#. Browsers don't send that part to the web server, and the page removes it from the address as soon as it has loaded your results.
What we collect
Nothing about you. There are no analytics, ads, cookies or third-party trackers.
Like every website, the site's host (Netlify) keeps standard server logs, such as IP address and the pages requested, to run and protect the service. Fonts load from Google Fonts, which receives a normal request from your browser. Your results are never part of either.
